Peter has a 30 year history in soil science and has undertaken a wide of work both practically and academically.  In 2004 he started LRS to fulfil a growing need for independent soils advice and to provide contract research for a number of commercial and public good organisations.

With a background in biology and animal science Shuang shifted her career from “water” to “soil” after moving to New Zealand and completing a PhD in Soil Science. in 2008 . She has published more than ten journal articles covering a broad range of research areas.

Shuang’s work at LRS encompasses a wide range of activities and research topics from the effect of different farming practices on the sustainability of farm systems to environmental protection and treatment techniques for animal waste disposal. Shuang comments "I'm really enjoying the variety offered by my role and the chance to diversify my skills".
